An Offering: The Bold Faith of Women Who Change the World

In the quiet hours before dawn breaks
We are the ones who bend our knees
Our prayers steady like the morning rain.

We are vessels and oceans
Carrying wisdom that runs deep
We walk by faith
Take leaps
Stand firm
like Esther before kings.

Our courage is as unshakeable
as Mary’s gentle “yes” that changed this entire world.

In boardrooms and nurseries
Between spreadsheets and bedtime stories
We weave threads of grace through ordinary days
Finding holy ground in hospital waiting rooms
And creating sanctuaries in suburban kitchens.

Like Sarah, we laugh at impossibilities
Like Hannah, we pour out our hearts
Like Ruth, we glean hope in barren fields.

Our testimonies are written in stretch marks.
Our worry lines yield to God’s divine direction.

And we do not claim to be perfection, but we are perfectly loved.

Sometimes walking wounded, yet wonderfully made
Many times dancing with doubt, but never letting go—
of the hand that holds the stars
and longs to heal all of our scars.

So, let some say we are too much—
Too loud in our praise
Too bold in our faith
Too firm in our stance
And we will stand anyway, rooted in grace.

For we know our place—

As daughters of the King
Sisters of the Savior
Our every breath is a hallelujah
to Abba our Maker.

In the quiet hours before dawn breaks
We offer up prayers
Steady like the morning rain
Yielding our very lives to our Lord—again and again.
