Everything has a beginning.

You have a beginning. I have a beginning.

It begins with God. Where there is no form, just emptiness, he hovers.

And when he hovered over dirt, he created mankind. Uniquely. In his own image. We reflect the image, the character, of God.

But then sin entered the picture. Mankind didn’t want to just reflect God, he wanted to be like God, with the character of God as his own. As a result, evil entered the world, distorting our reflection of God.

How can we get back to reflecting God’s character? By immersing ourselves in what we know about God, and his Son, who takes away our sin.

How do we immerse ourselves? By reading, by listening, to his very words.

That’s why I’m excited about her.BIBLE. By listening, I can immerse myself. I hear voices much like my own, reflecting the character of God. I feel the compassion of his Spirit as He reaches out to me. And I sense his love as he renews my mind and heart.
