Eva, a busy mom, shared her encouraging experience with us. She and her son, Jonny, listen to her.BIBLE together, one chapter a night, every night. Then she simply asks if he has any thoughts or questions. It’s a nightly ritual that is easy, brings them closer, and fosters a love for learning about God’s Word.
Since listening together, Eva can see a change in Jonny’s life. Their conversations about Bible passages are helping him grow in his faith and apply what he’s learned in his everyday life. He even donated his entire allowance (instead of a few pennies) to help provide meals for those in need. And after being bullied by a classmate, Jonny prayed for the child who had been unkind.
