We loved this powerful conversation with Tabitha Panariso about identity, healing from rejection, and the deep love Jesus has for women.
Tabitha shares her personal story of growing up around the church as a military chaplain’s daughter, but it wasn’t until she was 18 that her relationship with Jesus became personal and transformational. In a quiet moment in her car, she sensed God asking her: What kind of person do you want to be? That question changed everything.
Since then, Tabitha has walked away from performance-based faith and into a more authentic, grace-filled relationship with Jesus. Now a therapist, she brings her faith into her work, helping women reconnect with the faithful, kind, and loving Jesus especially when past wounds or rejection make that feel hard.
We talk about why women sometimes struggle to lean into a loving relationship with God, how our views of Jesus can be shaped by broken human relationships, and how to begin disentangling those beliefs.
She also shares about her book Loyal in His Love: An Invitation to Be Held by Jesus When Others Let You Go, written as a safe place for people wrestling with the pain of rejection. Through her story and insights, she reminds us that healing is possible and that there’s a better way forward than hiding or pretending we’re not hurt.
This episode is for anyone who feels the ache of rejection, abandonment, or a distant relationship with God. You are not alone. Jesus sees you, loves you, and invites you into a deeper, truer relationship with Him. […]
